Best Summer Concerts of 2023: July Edition

A city full of music. Evenings we look forward to for those nights of sweat and relaxation to come. The samples could be better. With Rosalia, Robbie Williams (who we featured in our previous Weekly - let's talk about them too), Florence and the Machine and Alexandre Desplat having so far gathered the highest rates of dancing, screaming and genuine excitement, we gathered here today with a beer in hand, hair in a bun and excess sweat on the cheeks to talk about those to come. And where they have high hopes to make us shiver once more this year and feel lucky to have experienced this magical concert summer.

July 18 - Andrea Bocelli

What will happen there: Almost a year ago, we heard on the radio that in 2023 the most famous tenor in the world would come to Greece. Many of us did not believe it. One is the situation with the previous concert years; another is that it has never been in Greece again. And that's where; fortunately, we were wrong. On July 18, the Olympic stadium will be filled with people and the unique, perhaps the most recognizable - alive - voice on the planet. There are still a few tickets left for this special event that we recommend attending whether you like classical music, Andrea Bocelli, we are ready to applaud you.
July 18 & 19 - Arctic Monkeys

What will happen there: First, let's remember together that their first performance day sold out so quickly that there was no reason to consider whether the Release Festival should add another one. What will happen there: What will not happen? Anyone lucky enough to be at a Prodigy concert in Athens or anywhere in the world knows. The rest of us can wait until the Release Festival tells us to "pass". The biggest band in electronic music is coming, and the opening acts for the night have yet to be announced. The excitement is there, and it's doing very well because, come on, it's the Prodigy.
July 22 - Guns n Roses

What will happen there: OK, Guns n Roses will be on stage. I repeat Guns n Roses will be on stage. What else needs to happen, Sweet Child Of mine? What! The iconic rock band, ahead of its World Tour, will also stop in Greece and awaits us for an evening that the adults will remember and the children will learn about the return to Paradise City. Where the grass is green, and the girls are?
