Paco Rabanne

Paco Rabanne

The Spanish designer Paco Rabanne, famous mainly as a fashion designer but also for the perfumes of the same name, died at the age of 88.

During his distinguished career, he went through houses such as Givenchy, Dior and Balenciaga. But soon, he began to stand out with his creations.

Bold cuts in the fashion industry characterized him, as in the 60s and 70s, he brought the simple women's - almost girlish - fashion lines, changing the sophisticated style that prevailed until then. In addition, he was one of the first to introduce black models to fashion shows.

His source of inspiration is art and architecture, while he also left his mark on cinema, such as when he created Jane Fonda's dress for the movie Barbarella in 1968.
