Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Womenswear FW23

Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Womenswear FW23

After a successful and playful runway show during Paris Fashion Week earlier this year, Maison Mihara Yasuhiro has returned with a new collection of oversized garments that will catch your attention. The Japanese designer has earned a reputation for creating unique clothing that captures the spotlight. This time, he's delving into his womenswear line with military-inspired pieces that feature outlandish silhouettes.

The Fall/Winter 2023 womenswear collection from Maison Mihara Yasuhiro perfectly embodies the futuristic essence of Japanese fashion. The line was showcased on local grounds, and it reflects the rebellious spirit of fashion-forward youth with its bold outlines and unconventional styling.

The collection offers an experimental range of female-focused garments, with standout pieces like oversized pink mohair cardigans and skirts from USD 1 bills. Maxi skirts with panels, pleats, and overwashing are paired with destroyed denim jackets and worn-out T-shirts. The collection also features new takes on MMY's OG Sole Low Top Sneakers.

Furry wool coats with chest buttons and inside-out pocket detailing are lined with golden satin trimmings that are exposed along the edges. Ultra-slouchy cargo pants are tied at the waist with shoelaces, and there are also reversed aviator bombers and double-layered blazers that look like they were stolen from your dad's closet.
